The most popular white elephant gift? Apparently, the Shake Weight.

Last Thursday was Josh's company holiday party.  In January?!  Yep.  They're a small company where 100% attendance is possible so since everyone was so busy in December with the holidays in general, they opted for January.  I'm glad they did.  Who doesn't love still celebrating and enjoying the holidays into January?

They did a white elephant gift exchange and there was not 1, not 2, but 3 Shake Weights out of 16 people!  And all 3 were different.  I know it looks absolutely ridiculous when in use but who knew it was the gag gift of the year!  And of course, we ended up with one LOL.

I highly doubt it's any better of a workout than lifting normal dumbbells, but since we now own one, I may as well use it just to see what it can do.  I'll let you know if it works miracles!

There's nothing like home

I can't believe it's already been a month since I last blogged.  Sorry about that friends!

I have been so busy with the holidays and travelling.

I came home last night and found an owl sitting on my chiminea!

Look how tiny he was!  Owls are such gorgeous, intriguing creatures.  :o)
